Oneonta is your upstate destination for events! With two major performance spaces in the City, acres of public parks, and a variety of intimate concert venues, Oneonta offers big city entertainment in a friendly, local setting.

Foothills Performing Arts Center has established itself as one of the premier venues in the region, attracting big-name acts such as John Michael Montgomery, Crystal Gayle, Judy Collins, Gordon Lightfoot, and Branford Marsalis.

The newly refurbished 1897 Oneonta Theatre has hosted a variety of crowd pleasers, from bluegrass crossover Bela Fleck to rock legend George Thorogood and pop phenom Aaron Carter. Recent acts include: Filter, Jefferson Starship, Blue Oyster Cult, Kansas, Arlo Guthrie, and Chris Robinson.

The City of Oneonta is also host to CAHPC’s annual Hospice Celebrity Party, a huge outdoor event that features classic live rock acts such as Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, TOTO, Huey Lewis and the News, Eddie Money, and Chicago.

Plus, with three colleges in the City there is no shortage of indie bands, plays, dance troupes, and comedy shows.
